“Possess Your Promises”

This message by Pastor Antonio speaks on possessing and living in the the promises that God has already made to us. Using Joshua 1:2-3 as the base scripture we see where the Hebrew Children were reminded that their past was dead and they couldn’t live in it, but there were promises before them that they could go get. We can follow the same instructions to possess our promises and have success in all that we do.

1. Let your past stay there, but rise up and move forward.
2. Be bold and courageous, because your enemy is more afraid of you than you know.
3. Keep the Word of God in your heart and in your mouth, it will keep you.

In Joshua 18:3, we see that not everyone was living in (possessing) their promises and they were corrected by Joshua as he says “How long are you going to be slack to go in to possess the (Promised) land, which the God of your fathers, has given you.”

You are encouraged to begin 2010 seeking first the Kingdom of God and being faithful to your harvest field.

A nondenominational church and emerging apostolic center in the heart of Idaho and the capitol of the Nez Perce Nation

We are a nondenominational church and emerging apostolic center in the heart of Idaho and the capitol of the Nez Perce Nation. Our ministries reach out both locally and to the Nations of the world. As we pray His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth, we proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ by representing the Kingdom of God, first in our city and then outward to the ends of the earth.

Our Worship

Webster defines worship as “fervent esteem, submissive respect, and adoration.” This is what we do as we strive to “focus on the presence of the Lord in the midst of his people” (Davidic Tabernacle) in every service. We offer a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips as we acknowledge his name (Hebrews 13:15) and celebrate His victorious reign.

Although music plays a major role in our services, worship is more than just music and dance, it is prayer, proclamations, even silence; it is standing, kneeling, laying, and sitting before the Lord; it is also labor for and service to others, it is the receiving of His Word. The objective is to come near him and allow Him to rule over our lives. Therefore, we practice spontaneity as we blend structured songs and improvised expressions as we allow the Spirit to birth “new songs” (Psalms 149:1) and release revelatory Word.

F.A.Q.

Below is scriptural responses to common question

Why do we lift our hands
Psalm 134:2 “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.”
Psalm 63:4; 1 Timothy 2:8

Why do we clap our hands?
Psalm 47:1 “O Clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.”
Isaiah 55:12

Why do we dance before the Lord?
Psalm 149:3 “Let them praise His name in the dance: let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp.”
Psalm 150:4; Exodus 15:20; 2 Samuel 6:16

Why do we have this type of worship?
John 4:23-24 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

Why do we sing hymns and choruses?
Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.”
Colossians 3:16

Why do we pray together?
Matthew 18:19 “Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
Luke 1:10; Acts 4:24

Why do we pray aloud?
Psalm 55:17 “Evening and morning, and at noon, will I pray and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.”
Psalms 5:3

Why are musical instruments a part of our worship?
Ps 150:3-5 “Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.”

Why do we sometimes weep in worship?
Psalm 126:6 “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”
Ecclesiastes 3:4; Luke 6:21; Joel 2:17; Romans 12:15

Before serving as lead pastors, they served as Evangelist, Sunday School Teachers, Youth Pastors, Worship Pastors, and Associate Pastors, primarily with the NAME Outreach under Pastor Hilliard Smith. Both were raised in the ministry and traveled extensively with their parents (LeRoy & Marcia Villegas and Hilliard & Elena Smith) throughout the United States, Canada, and oversees.

Welcome

We rejoice in the knowledge that God has crossed our paths today! Our desire is to be a Kingdom resource center, helping to encourage and equip you in the ministry of Christ Jesus. We invite you to use this site to stay linked to NAME Outreach and the ministries that God has connected us with.

Although this site keeps our local members informed on our activities, it is intended to encompass more than just news about our local church ministry. We also include the ministries in our region and the work being done in the Kingdom of God both locally and abroad.

For those seeking information about our church and services, we believe that Jesus established the church to be a community of believers, a family, and a corporate representation of Himself that would encourage and serve each other in unity, and to project His love to the world. So if you are searching for a group of people to accept you where you are and challenge you to grow in your reflection of God’s love, “Welcome.”

We invite you to join with us as we worship, fellowship, serve, learn, grow and encourage one another throughout each week. We also desire to see you encouraged, strengthened, and edified as we experience the blessings of His presence together.

For those who call NAME Outreach “home.” we consider ourselves blessed to call you family and we commit to pray for, to listen to, to forgive, to nurture, and serve our region together. We’re so glad you’re here!

For His Glory,

Pastors Antonio & Vestal Smith

Mission

“Our mission is to encourage and establish individuals, families, and regions to become Kingdom minded leaders, equipped to proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God with signs that follow and impacting every sector of society.”

Responsibilities of the Mission
We choose to accept the “Royal Law” and responsibility of living according to Matt 22:37-39

Loving God by:
* Receiving His grace
* Keeping His word
* Building a relationship with Him through prayer, worship, and devotions
* Maintaining Biblical standards of integrity, excellence, and doctrine

Loving our Neighbor by:
* Extending grace to others
* Building relationships with other members
* Working for the unity of the body of Christ
* Praying for one another and being our brother’s keeper

Vision

“Our vision is to see God’s will performed, our communities transformed and our Nations reformed through administration of God’s love, the revelation of God’s Word, and the manifestation of His glory.”

Steps to Vision
* Proclaim the good news that our God reigns at all times and in all places and in all situations

* Declare the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ as God’s transforming power to all people

* Make disciples of all nations, thereby transforming our societies for the Glory of God

* Restore apostolic church government and ministry

* Raise a younger generation who will be a vital influence for the Kingdom of God into the future

* Build a people of praise, worship, and prayer

* Establish a school of ministry to equip and train believers to do the work of the ministry

* Be a practical ministry of help, hope, and healing to our communities

* Be accountable for our words and actions

* Honor, respect, and treat each other with dignity

* Serve our Lord and his people with humbleness and in excellence of ministry

* Model our lives and ministry after our Lord Jesus Christ

* Allow the Father to have His will done on earth even as it is done in heaven

* Allow the Son to be Lord and not just savior of our lives

* Allow the Holy Spirit to have preeminence in our meetings and ministries

Praise Report

Hello Dear Friends – I want to let you know that my son Isaac was born yesterday 03-12-2010.

His stats:
weight – 7 lbs 13 3/4 oz
height – 20 in

He was bigger than our son Caleb at birth. I would like to thank you all for your prayers. His healthy birth is a testimony to the faithfullness of our God that when His people pray He answers.

At our Dr. appointment in the beginning of November we were told that there was an issue with low amniotic fluid. We were sent to a specialist in Spokane. Where the amniotic fluid levels were non-existent. The specialist sent us home thinking our baby was going to die. He said that if the baby survived till his 24th week they would deliver. They had no idea what was causing the fluid to be low. It was a tearful drive home.

At that point when we got home we contacted our friends via phone and Facebook (social networking at it’s finest) asking all to pray. Brittany went on bedrest and started to drink a tremendous amount of water. The specialist said that none of these efforts would work. So the next 8 weeks Brittany had 2 ultra sounds to monitor the fluid levels. The highest they got were up to 4 cm (normal level range from 9 cm to 20 cm). Isaac was a trooper though. His heart rate and development was normal. The only exception was that he was measuring 2 weeks small.

Our last regular Dr. appointment the levels were up to 10 cm. On Dec. 3rd, Isaac’s 24th week, we went up to see the specialist still thinking that he would be delivered. When they did the ultrasound the levels went down to 8 cm. The specialist said that we should come back on Dec. 23rd or if there was an emergency. Well the fluid levels did not break into the normal range until the Friday before our appointment in Spokane. The fluid levels were up to 15 cm. We went to our specialist and at that time the levels had increased to 19 cm.

That trip back home was a tearful drive as well. Tears not full with sorrow but with praise. Brittany went off of bedrest and now you heard the conclusion.

Praise you Lord for your grace to shine on us!
- Billy
